Admission is free for disabled visitors and their companions, on presentation of valid proof (Mobilité et Inclusion card for French visitors), or attestation organisme (groups).
Whether you're a group or an individual, you can visit the abbey at your own pace.
Self-guided tours, book in advance
If you book your tickets in advance, you'll have less of a wait. Free admission for children aged 18 and under.
Adapted tours for groups available on request (reservation required and special rates) from the reservations department.

Good to know
- Guide or assistance dogs allowed
- Warm clothing required in winter: monument not heated
- Wear comfortable, supportive footwear.
- In summer, bring a hat and sunglasses: very strong reverberation
Parking & access
Parking
- 1 parking space reserved for PRMs at the foot of the abbey
- 10 steps up to reception/ticket office/shop
- Possibility of parking in the staff parking lot to avoid the steps (request from the abbey on 04 90 54 64 17).
Inside the site
- Partial wheelchair access to the abbey (tower: 130 steps - Saint-Pierre built into the rock: 40 steps)
- Flooring not suitable for wheelchairs
- Escort required: site floor very uneven
